Terms and Conditions of Use

  1. Acceptance of Terms

    By downloading the App, you accept these terms. You must be at least 18 years old (16 years old in the USA/Canada) to use the service. The App requires to be set as the default for Caller ID and Spam to function.

  2. Service Description

    Spoof Shield is a utility tool designed to identify and block unwanted calls (Spam) and attempts of "ID Spoofing". The App uses internal algorithms based on numeric patterns and Stir/Shaken protocols.

    Note: The analysis is performed entirely on the user's device. Spoof Shield does not upload call data or contacts to external servers.

  3. Requirements and Permissions

    To function correctly, the App requires:

    • To be set as the default app for "Caller ID and Spam" in Android settings.
    • Access to the call log (Call Log) to analyze the history and create automatic blocking rules.

    The user acknowledges that failing to provide such permissions will prevent the correct functioning of the blocking features.

  4. Limitation of Liability (Disclaimer)

    Although we use Stir/Shaken protocols and local analysis:

    • · No guarantee of accuracy: The App cannot guarantee the blocking of 100% of spam calls, nor can it guarantee that "false positives" will not occur.
    • · User responsibility: The user is responsible for periodically checking the call history and auto-generated rules to ensure that desired numbers have not been blocked.
    • · Damages: LittleBearTech is not liable for missed calls or damages, except in cases of intent or gross negligence as provided by Italian law.
  5. Subscriptions and Right of Withdrawal
    • (Free Trial): Access to premium features requires a subscription or a lifetime license (Lifetime) at the end of the trial period.
    • Right of Withdrawal (EU/Italy): In accordance with the Consumer Code, you acknowledge that by starting the download or use of the App, you lose the right of withdrawal within 14 days once the execution has begun.
    • Payments and Refunds: Managed entirely through Google Play Billing.
  6. Privacy

    The management of data is described in the Privacy Policy. Call log data is read locally and is never sold or shared with third parties.

  7. Service Changes

    We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the App at any time to improve the service or comply with regulations.

  8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

    In case of disputes, the consumer's court of residence or domicile shall have jurisdiction.
